The Bangladesh Bicycle & Parts Manufacturer and Exporter's Association (BBPMEA) stands as the apex trade association for bicycle and spare parts manufacturers and exporters in Bangladesh. Since our establishment in 2003, The association has been the driving force behind one of the country's most promising export sub-sectors within the light engineering industry.

Our association is dedicated to promoting and facilitating the bicycle and parts industry through strategic policy advocacy, comprehensive member services, joint venture facilitation, and ensuring workers' legitimate rights while maintaining social compliance standards for sustainable growth in foreign exchange earnings.

The sector has received the highest attention in government export policies as a special development sector. Light Engineering Products were declared "Product of the Year-2020" with a vision to encourage sustained growth in this sub-sector.
